You can't see God yet you believe already in what you can not see with your own eye. You put your trust in Science, I put my trust in God. I read the bible and I am filled, you read your journals and are left with more questions.

That's true, but it's actually kind of cool in an intellectually challenging way. You just have to accept the fact that many of these questions will remain unanswered within one's lifetime. And I'm OK with that ... as I don't need to be comforted by absolutes....

Well, first of all, I'm not an atheist. I don't know if a god or gods exist or not. Second, we all comfort ourselves ... when you go take a poop, you are comforting yourself. I honestly believe that religious beliefs are primarily motivated by the need to be comforted. I enjoy intellectual challenges .... I find them comforting ....sue me.

As far as worrying about the existence of god or gods, I think about it now and again .... but, not very often.

Atheist don't believe in the God I believe in; so my apologies for assuming you don't believe in my God. The point of my question regarding:

Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. (1 Corinthians 12:3 KJV)

was to prove the existence of the Holy Spirit. You see for the above verse to be true, you would not be able to say "Jesus is The Lord", unless by the Holy Ghost (Spirit). And a person requires the Holy Spirit to be saved from judgement of their sins. An atheist or an agnostic would fumble on this verse as you have. Now I believe that the Holy Spirit could open your eyes to the truth and you would be able to believe "Jesus is The Lord", but that is to be seen.

When you do worry, count it a blessing as God is still working on your heart of stone.
