I thought an appreciation thread was needed every once in a while so we can just hug it out, so, here it is.

I generally have no feeling towards many of you. But even if I did, some of you people are just simply nuts and batcrap crazy. But you provide good entertainment, so that endures you somewhat to me. Especially since I've known some of you for a very long time.

I think it is the bat poop crazy entertainment value that brings me back day after day. The fact is that much of what I read in here is just plain unbelievable.

That said, there is one thing that's been on my mind in regard to this place lately, and that is a lack of a sense of any sort of community. I miss that and had a great sense of it in a former site I used to belong to until the profit motive ended it's existence. But then how does one create a community without others participation? Maybe a thread like this, even in the "Politics" area (if allowed), can be a start...

I've only known it to be used by one person, who has used it at least three times this week (after claiming to have won arguments that he didn't win of course). I think it's adorable.

As for me, I haven't used the ignore button yet, and I don't even know where it is.
