Good morning all you happy Christian-type people!

I hear this is a thread where no fighting is allowed? Now if we do that will it be TEOTWAWKI? (The end of the world as we know it?) Or just the end of the internet? (TEOTI?) Maybe we'll need to get Al Gore over here to fix it?

So let me look through and see if it's really possible, what with all the debating and division and feuding and fussing ...





Looks like a proud Mama, and with good reason!? Congrats Mom!! That's a Proverbs 31 moment right there, that is.

And wait, we have an Orthodox Priest posting the same thing? (What's the word for that, not synergy but ...) Pretty sure this is the kind of stuff that tends to break chains off of prisoners via earthquake and such

"And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed." (Acts 16:26)


Such IS the power of making melody in our heart, and, uh-oh, where does that verse go? Submitting ourselves to one another in the fear of the God.

Hmmm.

Almost like we should view one another as Holy or something? Still have work to do down here, that's for sure ...

Now I won't push my luck by posting Kenaniah by Petra, but it is on youtube and was never a hit so it wasn't played out but it's great music with great lyrics, even though it's a made up story rather than straight out of the Bible. At least I only find Kenaniah mentioned in 1 Chronicles 15 which isn't a battle at all, but here are some uplifting lyrics from it:

Isn't that great? And yes he does, because he led the singers as the Ark of the Covenant went into the temporary place David built for it.

So that song doesn't have the lyrics I was looking for, but is essentially the prequel to what I was thinking of:

Israel had a war to fight the Lord showed them the secret
He said the battle this day is mine but you must listen how to do it
put your singers first in front of the rest let them praise and sing to me
and you will see the Salvation of your God and watch your enemies flee

Brownie points to whoever can place that one with no peeking! And I know there is at least one Bible story that goes like this but I can't find it. Anybody know where it is?

Ha, I didn't even notice I was trying to put the accent on the 3rd syllable "ah," making it all wrong, but it could also be read with the accent on the second syllable, making it as intended

We've been letting him stay in the house with us this winter.
Unbelievable how smart & obedient he is. He doesn't run off from us when we let him out to do his doggy business.
The other day no one would pay him enough attention to go out, so on his own, he thought to go step into the tub & pee there. Pretty smart.
