Hmmmm...

The sex life must be fun.

One of my sisters friends gave someone cancer having sex with them. I didn't even know that was possible, the turd still has an active sex life and I have zilch.

He was even convicted on child porn charges.

Because she's single... And Christian. Wants a Christian's perspective. I just don't know the dating world.. Well enough to have good advice. Thought I could ask here.. For her.

Christian perspective would be "dont have sexual relations before you are married".

Yep.

But obviously the deed has been done. The next step here would be to ditch the guy. He's a loser through and through.

Definitely, but that's not very helpful after the fact when the issue isn't really the sex as much as it is the herpes :p

Exactly my point. There is nothing really to give a Christian perspective on. THe deed is done. THe bible dosnt tell you how to treat herpes.

So this statement by the OP that her friend wants a Christian perspective is a bit late.

He does sound like a lowlife. But on the other hand she dosnt sound like a winner either. So maybe in an odd way they are a good match.

Everyone fails at being a Christian in more than name only most days, it's just a matter of how obviously they do so, how honest they are about it and whether their 'failings' are used to improve themselves. Or at least they fail in being what people expect them to be which is then translated into not being what they say they are, or something.

most Christians are Christians in name only. So why should the forums be any different.

It's probably safe to say that *all* Christians are Christian in name only according to someone else. People who dance or listen to rock music are called CINOs, people who worship on Saturday are called CINOs, fundies are called CINOs, Lutherans are called CINOs, the Pope is sometimes called a CINO etc.
