  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Okay, here's my question. Why would they wait for Obama to be REelected to start the Jihad back up again. If starting the Jihad has anything to do with Obama being (re)elected, why didn't they start it back up four years ago?
I do not really know anything about the Muslim political structure. Clearly Obama showed himself to be a team player when they had the power struggle in Libya where clearly they did not want Gaddafi's sons to take over the country. So there have been conflicts in the last 4 years but nothing like what your going to see now. There are lots of book on Amazon that talks about the coming Jihad. Some people know a lot more about this than I do.

So basically you were pulling that claim out of your nether regions. Thank you for clearing that up.

Schools are in the business of making money. So it may not be a good idea to kick people out.

Medical schools are still in the business of training capable doctors. Training capable doctors is what they earn their money with. So if they want to continue making money, they have very little choice but to kick the people out that do not want to follow the required education.

If you people had read the newspaper this morning you would see that my claim of Jihad is NO LONGER A CLAIM. They already are attacking Israel. Predicting war in the middle east is like shooting fish in a barrel. It is not a question of if but when.

That is not Jihad.

Predicting war in the middle east is like shooting fish in a barrel. It is not a question of if but when.

Good, your prediction has no value then.

There are over 1 million Muslims in the world and they seem to have a problem with the theory of evolution. If you have medical students that are boycotting lectures on Darwin's theory, then how close are we to the banning of Evolutionary theory in Muslims schools?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...es-Darwinism-clashes-Koran.html#ixzz2CJzMqjXV

"Muslim students, including trainee doctors on one of Britain's leading medical courses, are walking out of lectures on evolution claiming it conflicts with creationist ideas established in the Koran.

Professors at University College London have expressed concern over the increasing number of biology students boycotting lectures on Darwinist theory, which form an important part of the syllabus, citing their religion."

Then they are imbeciles and might fail their courses, and possibly be dismissed from the school. In my opinion, if a medical student is boycotting lecture because he doesn't believe in biology, that is cause for concern that advisors should address.

Not really because it is all so obvious. Wars and natural disasters are a given. So it's not much of a prediction to say they are coming out way. I just want to see how far you people would go to disagree with me. If I said sooner or later it is going to rain you would say NO IT WILL NEVER RAIN AGAIN. Just to disagree with me.

Why does the prediction have no value when the prediction always comes true? If I says stay out of bars because you may get shot why is that of no value. There is a 100% chance that someone is going to get shot. I would not be surprised if in their holy war they start to bomb the bars to try to keep people from going there to defile themselves.

What do you mean by "familiar"? The only medical school I know about is in Baltimore.
I mean, can you name a single for-profit medical school? You did say they were in it for the money, so which of them actually exist to make money?

(Note: there are currently zero for-profit medical schools in the U.S.)

I'm a creationist. I have the right to believe so. Anyways, creationism or evolutionism has nothing to do with God's existence. God doesn't exist exclusively because of creationism ideas. If there's a God, both theories don't necessarily exclud God.

I agree with you, except for one thing. There is no "both theories". There is only one theory, the other is a religious belief.

Of course they are in it for the money. Otherwise they would provide their service or product for free. To be sure many people love what they do, esp educators. They would be glad to do it for free. But you still have the reality in life of having to pay the bills. If you have not noticed the neighborhood that these people gather in, tend to be a very expensive place to live.

There is only one theory, the other is a religious belief.
Then show us how "religious belief" evolved. You are saying that man created God. Perhaps that is true for you. Perhaps your concept of God is man made. For the rest of us God runs the show and we follow His precepts. Notice the play on words here between man made concepts and God given precepts?
