Swedens king is from france or norway (i heard both), we are under foriegn occupation and i seem to be the only one notice anything...

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Carl XVI Gustav was born in Stockholm, the Haga Palace to be exact, which makes him (unless I'm very much mistaken) Swedish.
There might be some confusion as he's:
First cousin of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark
Second cousin once removed of King Albert II of Belgium
Second cousin once removed of King Harald V of Norway
Third cousin (twice) of Queen Elizabeth II of the UK
Third cousin (twice) of King Juan Carlos I of Spain
Third cousin of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.
Don't think there's a french connection though, they got rid of their royalty and aristocracy towards the end of the 18th centuary.

The OP appears to refer to the House of Bernadotte. When the Swedish king died without issue, the Swedish Riksdag elected Napoleon's (Sweden's ally at the time) Marshal, Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte as their new regent in 1810. The Swedish king was also the king of Norway (hence "or Norway," I assume) up until Norway's independence in 1905, when the Norwegians in turn elected a Danish prince to be their king.
Of course, the British monarchs, for instance, hail from a German dynasty, so, following the OP's logic, pretty much all the European monarchies are "under foreign occupation" one way or another. Sweden's position is just more difficult because Sweden has outsourced her national defence to Norway and Finland and no longer employes but one submarine to patrol her borders.

Heh..the only legitimate monarch in the North now, is our own Queen Margrethe - the Norwegian King is just a branch of her family (her great-grandfather's brother, if I remember correctly).
So, let's get Scandinavia back under ONE crown, hm?
