Creationism is Inappropriate for Children

If you think of it, god is the essence of the whole universe, then If god is all mighty, why couldn't he have created the big bang or created everything via evolution?

One of the possible reasons why a great number of Christians don't believe in evolution is because as God created us with his abilities, albeit on a smaller scale, we tend to think and plan like God does, and we just wouldn't have done it that way. And whereas we create many things through the 'evolutionary' process of trial and error we believe that God knows exactly what he wants to create and does it right the first time. Therefore any succession of similiar critters were perfectly designed the first time and brought into being instantly and placed in an environment suitable for them, according to God's purpose for them.

Great changes occured when those environments changed dramatically, at which point God designed new critters to replace those that didn't survive. This explains why some creatures came on the scene rather suddenly with no history of having slowly and painfully evolved.

The long and short of it is that there is no compelling reason for God to use evolution, as it is presented by science.

Evolution happens. The Theory of Evolution is a scientific attempt to explain how evolution happens.

There is no dispute within the scientific community whether or not evolution happens. All of the research is focused on how it happens.

And here is a university website that is a good introduction to evolution and has a good deal of information on the mechanics of how evolution works. If you disbelieve evolution, I ask you to please read it to better understand what evolution is. Don't skim, and don't just skip to the end. Begin at the beginning.

The long and short of it is that there is no compelling reason for God to use evolution, as it is presented by science.

Then there are the funny things such as several species of animals that are very much alike and genetically relatively close, but are different because of the changing conditions of the areas.

As an example, you can easily compare a human with a chimpanzee. We weren't chimpanzees first, but we had the same kind of a beginning creature to start off from. Both of the species are violent, social in the same way (They bully others in the same manner and such as well), self-centered and ruthless.

I have found that people who accept theistic evolution still see God's hand in our world today, and feel grateful for an abundance of ordinary miracles.

I have also found that many people who are creationists think that the last miracles occurred in Acts, that God's last revelations to us ended when the last evangelist put down his quill.

To believe in evolution is to believe that God's hand was present throughout history and will be into the future. All life is a miracle--they don't have to be earthshaking.

Seriously though I love how atheist say science was wrong back then, but now they know alot! Really? Thats what was said about science 50 years ago, 100 years ago, 500 years ago...etc. At what point does science know everything correctly with out it being disproved 10 years late? lol ^.^

I realize not all science is wrong, for example its obvious gravity is a correct thing. But most things like big bang, evolution and eve carbon dating have not been proven well. I've seen even non-christian scientists even argue about evolution for example. If its true then wouldn't all scientists agree on it? And yet many still have diffrent theories. And no I will not post evidnce, links, audio/video of the counter evidence because unlike atheists I actually spend my time doing things besides asking a billion questions a day.

How can one claim to be happy when one worships science for the answers to everything, almost as if you cannot live unles science tells you what to do. And they claim we believers worship and can't live with God. Well it seems you are the same. Of course they claim science is not a religion, which is ironic because they don't see how much they worship it.

I will end by saying science says originally we as life formed from slugs right? Well I am pretty sure I could make a good joke about this but I will hold back.

Ok continue on debating. Meanwhile I'll be ignoring this topic (like so many others in this section) and doing things outside the computer.

Evolution is so simplistic unto the whole picture. The foundation is God. Without God every theory and concept and guess fails. God is the start of every truth and those that disagree with that have errored. Please provide a case, I will prove it.
