CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This too will not satisfy. For when doing this, I am charged with using someone else's case as my own and I am also charged with not thinking for myself.
So it is becoming increasingly difficult to actually post anything in the way of peer reviewed material due to the censorship imposed upon me.

I can't speak for every atheist you've meet, but you are currently talking to an atheist who is not "filled with hate". If you think I am filled with hate, then please tell me what it is exactly (or who is it) that I supposedly hate?

This thread has been derailed several times. In order to keep the thread from veering away from the OP, I am going to respectfully ask that all questions and comments be directed to me regarding the cosmological argument for the existence of God. If anyone desires to ask me anything or comment on anything not pertaining to the argument, please start a new thread or send me a PM.

You accuse every atheist on here of being full of hate. Then, in order to avoid answering any questions about what we are supposedly hateful of, you "respectfully ask" that all questions and comments from this point onward be directed toward the OP. If the thread has derailed, then you have contributed to its derailment. So how about answering the question: what are we "hate filled" atheists hateful of? And what makes those who claim to honor God less hate filled by comparison?

Posting sources for your claims is one thing. Posting an entire essay that you just ripped from another person because you're unable to write a convincing argumentation, then claiming you're smarter than us and replying to our criticisms of "your" text by telling us we should have a talk with the person who originally wrote it, on the other hand, is not acceptable.My hands are tied KC. Poisoning the well, muddying the waters, and ad hominem attacks are not going to be viable reasons for discontinuing discussion regarding the cosmological argument. If you guys desire to treat this as an academic debate, which I have no desire to do nor was it my intention, then please stick to the mainline of the OP.

That conclusion has already been reached, and the path has been elaborated and expounded upon in this thread many times over.
You know, you could simply take back what you said. It's very simple. It's what each and every one of us would do if we had said something in error. It's obvious you don't want to talk about it, so do the right thing and the easiest thing.
