CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Are there any musicians out there?
I played drums for about a year and a half in a band, switched to bass but now guitar because of more information online in tabs of how to play it!

Learning To Stand

I do a lot of drawing in my spare time. Usually when I'm bored. I'll often times sketch something to some music. It bares interesting results most of the time, depending on what I'm listening to.
As for WHAT I draw, I used to want to become something of a comic book artist or even a cartoonist or something. Because I was into tons of anime and things like that, my art style has lot's of those kinds of influences. However, I decided I wanted to further myself away from that a little bit and started experimenting with my own thing a few years ago. You can still spot the anime in it however. xD'
I was really into the Jhonen Vasquez art style when I was younger, so for a little while, my art was more like that... Actually, I've gone through a few styles already. Lol. Still have a long way to go though and even though I certainly need practice with anatomy and poses and such, I feel like I should start focusing a bit more on backgrounds and such since I don't have much experience with that. Dx

At the moment my hobbies seem to be posting on CF and searching for work

Ordinarily my main hobby would be photography, followed by nature walks, with knitting/cooking/gardening/various animal related activities vying for third place. Starting to feel the need to take up a more active hobby though, maybe extreme ironing.

I love to fish, i'm a girl so some people say its weird, my husband says men like it coz they have "the hunting instinct" but i reckon that's nonsense, for me its about being outside in the sunshine, adventure, and i get a kick out of catching more than guys around me =)
