When the men who actually wrote the Bible down in their own handwriting; those were called the AUTOGRAPHS.

Over time, the autographs decayed away; but they were meticulously copied into what is called the ORIGINALS.

Over time, the originals decayed, but they too were copied into more ORIGINALS.

Over time, sects appeared that didn't quite believe this or that, and they copied the originals into their own set of ORIGINALS.

So when you see in a Bible's foot notes, or marginal notes, or center-column references things like:

• A better manuscript says...
• The originals say...
• A newer manuscript says...

... don't believe it.


The common people wouldn't touch these fake originals with a ten-foot pole.


That's why scholars find them, they were never used.

And yet from what we know about Codex Sinaiticus one of these so called Alexandrian Perverted Manuscripts, it was in use since about the 4th C and there really isn't any validity to Tischendorf's claims of having found it in the trash can.

Where'd you check it from? Wrong's Concordance?

While you're checking, how about checking the name of the body of water that Moses crossed, or if the Tabernacle in the Wilderness was made of porpoise skin, or the lovely gender-bending Colossians 4:15.

Hardly - I looked up the Greek text and that was all I needed, actually being able to read it and having a reasonable command of vocabulary. I knew it better from πολλός which is a fairly common ancient Greek word and didn't have to look it up. It's called receiving an education in the subject.

The name of the body of water Moses supposedly crossed would be written in Hebrew. Not my speciality. Not sure what you're pointing to with the rest of your post, apart from away from the repeated demonstrations of how little of this you actually really know. You might have to live down the "I don't like Hebrew or Greek" for a while, and saying that you think quoting other languages is a little silly when you were the first person to resort to a Latin phrase just made you look odd.

Though I suppose the speed Googling you're doing is probably good if you remember it, so keep it up.
