Well considering every single time I have ever had a preacher go to the Greek or Hebrew they explained the nuances that they were wanting to emphasise that verse is not applicable, not to mention St. Paul would have been thinking of Greek and Hebrew as those "words with my understanding"

Don't you mean

ἀλλ' ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ θέλω πέντε λόγους διὰ τοῦ νοός μου λαλῆσαι ἵνα καὶ ἄλλους κατηχήσω ἢ μυρίους λόγους ἐν γλώσσῃ

Since that is what Paul is recorded as having written (at least in 1550).

What you don't know about evolution doesn't nearly blow my mind as much as the sum total of what you don't know about your own Bible!

If there is no evidence -- yet we are here -- then that speaks of creatio ex nihilo.

I find it interesting that this is also the best evidence AGAINST creationism, making this a prime candidate for applying Occam's Razor.
