There seems to be just this fundamental disconnect.

Again IF someone comes and fulfills them, and it is not Jesus, what is the only conclusion that can be drawn? And if you say that he is false, that is simply incorrect.

do you think the new covenant spoken for israel will be fulfilled when he comes....that israel will make a new covenant with hashem when the messiah comes?....and that new covenant will not be christianity...but a covenant that honors the law?

Yes, that is what the prophecy indicates to me. This will be one when the world is transformed and we will have the Law written on our hearts (where we will keep it perfectly).

i thought so.....so what i see from this....is that if jesus is correct....then israel will make this covenant with another messiah...and this is why the lord scatters israel one last time....to draw the hearts to himself..
For israel will be following falsehood ......lies or words spoken...not spoken by god....thus breaking the commandment of the law...to not use the lords name in vain...punishment is death.....this death is being cut off from the promised land.....and as you know...this cut off is eternal in severity in christianity

Lol...idk...just ran with it....for the record...loammi ...i know you dont believe this...but i make the point that this messiah to come....hashem is suppose to be with him.....and his kingdom is not to end....by the power of hashem....if he is false his kingdom will come to an end ina short space

Personally i already have judge him false.....because of my faith in jesus.....therefor chances are im a dead duck when he comes.....i will probably be judge a heretic or blaspemer ...or a false prophet...or an idolater....or judge a man who worships 3 gods....so death is my fate in those days.....better to die in the lord than to seek to save your life....for in those days preaching will not be allowed without persecution from the order that will come.....

According to scripture, you would recognize the truth. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, about men being killed in the messianic age for those things. As I have explained to you several times now, if a person came that did that, we would reject him. Ok?

ok...but you are one man....and it is prophecied that israel or majority will recieve the false messiah to come....only a remnant will reject him...

If I am right, and it happened tomorrow, you would know you were wrong. Belief would not enter into it. You would know you were wrong just as you know that 2+2 is not 1000. In that situation, you would not keep your faith in Jesus. That is what scripture says.

Likewise, your scripture says that Jesus' return will be the same. Everybody will recognize it for what it is.

Both of ours say the same thing, the question of who is the big one.

..actually brother ....there is no way ...others in chrisrianity may fall away from the faith...but i know to much to deny jesus....i would be as judas if i turn from my lord...a traiter...and it did not end well for judas
