Bucking hay is a guaranteed way of making me look like a stud: sunburnt face, disheveled hair, drenched in sweat, hoarse voice, raspy breathing, swollen eyes, and runny nose.Joy7crf said:That is the only type of workout I think people look horrible afterwards, hay dust all over sweaty face, and smelling bad from the barn. icky

Always. I always wear gloves when doing such work.Toro said:You forgot to mention the bloody hands (the back of your hands) if you didnt wear gloves.
NOT ALWAYS, it only takes once to learn WHY.
I thought BAH, I don't need gloves the first time.
All it took was looking at the callouses on a friend's hands which he received from never wearing gloves doing anything. This immediately precedes the inevitable boast where he states he wants to have callouses thick enough that he can uproot a rose bush without gloves.
They already look pretty bad; what that he never wears gloves and is a mechanic, they are in a constant state of black and grease-staining.Joy7crf said:wow, hands like that would look pretty horrible.
Hazarding a guess, I'm not sure every woman wants her husband to touch her with rough and overly calloused hands either. :/Nom De Guerre said:Yeah... I want a woman's touch to be delicate, not have callouses like me.
