All of science can be used to verify that the Bible is true. If there is a conflict then you can be sure that science is in error not the Bible. The context I think was in the pursuit of knowledge, to where one cannnot claim they had no choice, as an excuse for their ignorance.

God has shone a light on the mystery that is the far past and early man. There are things that, if not ignored provide a key to unlocking that period and the only key, I would think.

I have been saying this too.
However, bible interpretations are wrong if science supports an interpretation of Genesis that is different from the personal interpretation of one paerticular denomination or another.

The Truth then hurts that church which like all churches, has had a long tradition of arrogance insisting that their own brand of Bible interpretation is the only way to see the scripture as making sense.
