It happened to me again

I have been sexually assaulted again in my life. It also happened when I was much younger. It happened last Sunday. I called the police.

I keep having memories of what he did. I am scared now. I am having confusion, anger and sadness now. I need support. It seems no one has any time for me offline. They give you about 5 minutes on the crisis line and it did not help much. My case manager did not even call me about it when I called her. I am disappointed with her. I did not expect me to have to go through this at this time of the year especially.

Ruth, I'm so sorry for what has happened to you. I hear your hurting heart and can feel your pain through your words. I don't know if God feels close to you or not right now, either way is understandable. I haven't been in this situation so I don't quite know what to say, but I have a burden on my heart to pray for you. You will be in my prayers this week.

I am also a part of the Recovery:Survivors of Abuse section. I don't know if you are a part of that group on Bibleforums, but I've found a good community there, too.

Thank you all for your responses. They have helped me knowing people care. I appreciate the scripture so much! I am on increased meds now and going to a support group offline too. I am doing much better. I look to the Lord to guide me. I have gone through a lot of anger and hurt and they would not press charges against him because of insufficient evidence. I was mad about that but at least there is a protection order against him. I saw him and he would not look at me and looked scared. I think the police and the detectives scared him bad. Thank the Lord.

Have you been prayed for against the spiritual attachments and defilement that accompany abuse? These can function as 'magnets' attracting some men towards you.

Awww l'm soooo sorry hun this ever happend to you always remember its not your fault. To be honest sweety l went through it too l got raped by a guy he drugged me and people thought l was drunk and said he would take me home. He lied and never took me home we went back to his place l could barely walk and when l went to his place it felt a echo and l was so weak l couldn't push him off me. Finally l started screaming he finally got off me. And took me home the cops got called too and he went to jail and he died he jail. I got messed up for a long time l started doing drugs and drinking sleeping with other guys to make myself feel better if you ever need someone to talk to l'm here for u. l'm a bit better now it was 9 years ago sometimes its painful to think about it and l have a great husband now. Just take it one day at a time everything will be ok l will be praying for you god bless you

Thank you everyone. God has helped me to deal with this and I praise him for that. I no longer see myself as a victim. I am a survivor and stood up to this creep. I appreciate all the prayers immensely. They do work!!
