CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS I am not so happy. I will deviate from the forums hopefully for a decent time frame this time. Is it weird to feel so bad for expressing that I feel bad? I always say to put it on God, but here I am, and so I feel even worse lol.

It is not bad to leave the forums. Each time I leave for at least a few months I feel much better. I am ashamed that I have returned after less than a month.

IJWTS: I just went about 15 months without aggravating my back...it's not bad though. I'll just relax today and have some pain pills.

For I said in my haste,
“I am cut off from before Your eyes”;
Nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications
When I cried out to You.
Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints!
For the LORD preserves the faithful,
And fully repays the proud person.
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the LORD.
I gave that to someone who was suffering a lot a long time ago. I asked them to pray for me as "the prayers of the righteous avails much". They told me I consoled them a long time ago and I used that exact verse for them, which I forgot completely. So I feel better x2, one I didn't know I helped her so much so I feel like I was repaid just now, and two the scripture it self.
