The recent and non recent list is just posted to remind everyone of who all posts (and has posted) here. So you can use anyone on the list when voting. :)

The vote would look like this:

Most Charming - your vote here

Best Hair - your vote here

Most Compassionate -your vote here

so on and so forth. :) The way it goes, I PM you the categories list, and you send me back a PM with your vote for each category. :)

How about Most Likely to Cause a Mass Exodus from CF? I just want a category I'm guaranteed to win.
Need I remind you you've won Funniest 2 times in a row? :p

Nominations aren't a bad idea. Narrow each category down to the top 5 voted for and then have 1 giant final vote. This time around can we actually find out how many votes the top 3 winners got?

I just like voting I think ;)

Oh, and I said at the last one that we should have completely new categories each round if we are going to have them so close together. I'm sticking with that idea.

I second the following new categories that were recently suggested:

"Most Likely To Be The Anonymous Blesser"
"Best Matchmaker"

OHH!! I REALLY like the nominations idea! We haven't done it before and I think it'll be fun! I think we should have lots of categories like how we did last time, but have two rounds of voting: the first to determine the 5 nominees for each category and the second to determine the winners! And to make things fair, I think there should be a limit to the number of categories that each person can be a nominee for (I think a limit of 3 categories per person would be best) in order to avoid the same 10 people being nominated for everything. Even though this may "rig" things a little (say, if someone has enough votes to be a nominee in 5 different categories, they'd have to be "bumped out" of two and replaced by the 6th place person), I still think that would be more fair and fun than having the same 10 people be nominated for everything. Because honestly, that gets real boring real fast. I like to see variety! :D

Also, I disagree with having all different categories for each round of awards. I think that most of the categories should be new and different, but that there should a small handful of categories that are redone every round. Some categories that I think should be redone every round are: Best Username, Best Avatar, Best Signature, Best Profile Picture (avatars, names, sigs, and pictures are so often changed that every round there may be completely new people who win these categories), and Best Newbie (because the CF Awards by nature sort of exclude all the new people, this award is a great way to include them! I think if we do away with this category it'll only make the new people feel more left out.) There are others that would be great for every round, but those five were the first to come to mind. :)

I think we should have more categories so some people have more chances to win. Just my thoughts.

Then what's the point of winning if everyone's a winner?

But there's only one winner per category and each category is a completely separate award, so we won't have the problem of a win not having any value because too many other people won. :)

Also, I always think these sort of awards get very, very boring when the same 5 or 10 people win everything. I mean, if we're going to make it so that the same group of people win all the awards every time around, then why even bother doing more rounds of awards, you know? What's the point if it's always so predictable with the same people and no variety? I think the whole fun is that every round is a little different, with new and different people winning each time. :D

I concur with this. Do a nomination round, then pick the top whatever number and have a final vote.

If badges/awards are too much work, I'm sure people wouldn't mind. The title seems like enough of a prize to me.
