Evidently his parents were students at MIT and had an oopsie. I wonder what the world would be like if his mother had had an abortion.

It wouldn't matter because you never would have had the thought "man I wonder what the world would be like if Steve Jobs' fetus hadn't been aborted at 1 week". The tech world would be a little different, that's all.Evidently his parents were students at MIT and had an oopsie. I wonder what the world would be like if his mother had had an abortion.

IF Steve Jobs was not born, then we would probably be talking about someone else with a generally simialr vision only different in names and details.
Steve Jobs got where he was due to a good vision and execution -- in his absence, the market would naturally be demanding things similar to what Mr. Jobs provided.
Likewise... If 'Hitler' had never been born we'd be talking about how evil Stahl or Kramer was.
The National Socialist-like ideals and Fascist doctrine was in place long before him, and the natural attraction people had to them at that time would've been tapped regardless of the person.
Individuals are, in some ways, incredibly influential, and others, not so much...
Now imagine if Stahl would've been more interested in solely pushing Eastwards and not angering the British? Now history would be a bit different.
Two Words, so what. He wasn't Aborted so we can not speculate.
For every sperm that makes it to an egg, a tens of thousands (at least) don't. For every egg that conceives, 10's of thousands do not.
In most places and times, there are a few people who really, really succeed doing something, and completely change their culture, which means that innovation isn't that rare a trait--it shows up on a pretty regular basis.
So, if Steve Jobs hadn't been born, somebody else would have done something comparable to what he had done. From the earliest humans to us, the world has only ever changed in superficial ways. Nobody that I can think of has done anything to change that.
Hitler didn't want to fight the British. The British got involved because Hitler attacked France.
Yes. He wrote about that in his book.
He should've only focused on the East.
