CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't believe you! To be massive it needs to be as far as you imagine. For that to happen space must extend from earth to the star as we know space on earth. You do not know that. All is lost for you.

False! The records state that they were not. If anyone claims science for a claim that they were a certain way, now is the time to show and tell! But I know that science doesn't know. That leaves you in a real pickle.

No. I do not doubt some event that we call a super nova happened. However, it is nothing like what you claim. What is actually known about it?

Supernova are caused by the slowing of hydrogen fusion in stars. As hydrogen fusion slows, the star contracts, providing enough heat to begin helium fusion. And so the cycle repeats through carbon, neon, oxygen and silicon. Since energy loss through neutrino byproducts is significant in all stages from carbon on, each stage is shorter than the last due to a higher reaction rate to maintain equilibrium. Eventually, the star begins producing iron. Iron fusion does not produce positive net energy, so a core of iron, under immense pressure, begins to develop.
It continues until it reaches the Chandraesekhar limit, at which point inward pressure outweighs outward pressure from electron degeneracy and the star catastrophically collapses. Since matter cannot all fit into the same space, it heats up, causing more reactions as it collapses, and then it gets exploded outwards.
But I'm sure we'll get that habitual "but we don't really know" or yours. Which is true. Since dad has been incapable of showing how any law has changed in a way that would negate the ERV evidence then there is nothing left to talk about in that vein. Anyone else have a rebuttal to the ERV argument that doesn't involve Last Thursdayism?

Wrong. Those that offer 'simulation' must show what they are based on. We know that in this case...present state having existed in the past belief. Nothing more.

False. You have not shown that present state life processes and laws applied as they would have to, to give life to your fantasy claims. Therefore, we may assume that, like long lives, and fast growing trees, etc etc...the transfer of viri (or their ancestor, as the case may be) was not in any way we know now.
That kills your case something fierce. The only recourse I can see for folks denying their defeat and having no substance or facts that they can discuss honestly, is to resort to the ignore button

Which life processes and laws are you talking about? Be specific. Please show which ones would need to change so that retroviruses no longer replicated by life could have. Also show us evidence that they were in fact different. Until you do so there is no reason to take you seriously.
We observe that laws do not change through either time nor space. This is the observation. If you want to challenge these observations then you need to supply your own observations.
