I quickly checked out some of the links you gave here. While they all seem to deal with electrical currents and circuits in astrophysical settings, none of them give any hint to the existence of consciousness.

So where is the empirical data for your theory?

It's found in the "predictions" it makes for one, but I'll take that up in the other thread as I get time this weekend. Sorry for the long delay. It's been a long and busy week at work.

If as you say the universe is one big intelligent being then I am afraid it will take light years for it to make any decision let alone an intelligent one due to the distances involved. After all electrons cannot travel faster than C.

You really have no idea about the limit of C do you?

You cannot have the universe as one intelligent entity simply because it cannot process information faster than the C and thus it is impossible for it to make any decision. If you cannot understand this then consider this: It takes approximately 8 minutes for light to travel from the sun to the earth. So imagine if the whole universe was God then how long it would take for his sentient parts to intercommunicate in order for him to make a decision!

Besides which, we cannot see some parts of the universe because space is expanding faster than the speed of light, or because there has not been enough time for our light cone to expand sufficiently. It is hard to be intelligent when no single part of your 'mind' cannot communicate with most of the rest of it.

Objects with mass cannot travel faster than light, and "space" doesn't do any expanding tricks in the lab. Objects move in the lab, but "space" doesn't do any sort of magic expansion tricks in controlled experimentation.

Has anybody ever thought that the big bang theory was true and that was how God began the creation of the world. I mean Religion and science has been at odds for a long time. The only real issue is that the church has always had the attitude that they should be the go to guys for such information, and if they didn't have the answers they would just throw scripture at you and demonize you if you didn't bow to their will. What if science has fallen upon the very engine that God used to begin the universe.

It is difficult to explain what spacetime is to one who has little to no knowledge of physics. Time and space cannot exist without each other and for all intents and purposes are two but one; look at your trinity.
