Science believes that at one time planet earth was a snowball. In the Bible we are told on the first day God moved on the face of the waters and He said: "Let there be light". (day one) We know that photosynthesis converts carbon dioxide into oxygen. (day two) This would create global warming and the ice would begin to melt. God said: "Let dry land appear". (day three). This must mean that Genesis has two meanings. One meaning represents the last 12,982 years. The end of the last Ice Age. But clearly Genesis does talk about an "old earth" and the beginning of life here on earth. Some people want to accept one or the other interpretation. But they are both just as true. One is not any more right or wrong then the other. Of course the last ice age did not cover the whole earth.
