Actually not Jan

It was two paragraphs of a report
re: our old car and the new one with picture links
and, when I saw the NO PERMISSION 'note'
I 'highlighted' everything...intending to load the post into my clipboard..to repost
ONLY there was NO 'COPY' OPTION in the menu [for the input widow]
the 'option' is only available, for OLD POSTS

I havent used the 'attachments' facility, for some while now

Seeing no similar-mention, of the problem, shall I consider it to be perhaps
a personal limitation ? I wonder

Oh well, maybe I should write my posts in an external editor
and paste them in ...so, that when a submission fails [as above]
I will still have 'a fallback copy' for further attempts
Hoping your weather improves soon!!!

Greetings all, hope you are having a nice Sunday.
I saw this video on the news this morning, it is so uplifting, I wanted to share.
Enjoy.
YouTube - ‪8-Year-Old Eagle Young Marine Honors U.S. Flag [FOX: 5-27-2011]‬‏

That is awesome what a nice young man. Although not american my son was and is very patriotic as well. While in grade 8 ( I know Americans say 8th grade :)) he asked our principal if it would be possible to put up a Canadian flag on our school grounds. Although it didn't happen immediately I believe he put the idea in the pot and when a donation came in to the school from a family who had lost their son tragically they put one up. It is still waving proudly 8 years later. Jan

Hi ~Well, I just got back a bunch of lab work back today, I had some blood drawn a few weeks back in Yakima because I just was not feeling well at all, I am sure glad I did too. I thought you might be interested to hear what I have.

Well, I asked for an "Epstein Barr" blood test, this tests for a virus that is the same as "Mono", but it is not mono unless other factors are present, it also tells if you are starting Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CHF). Well, the normal level is 18 or less, now get this, I am a whopping 118!!!!!!That is way high. My doctor said somewhere, not too long ago, I came in contact with someone who also had the Epstein Barr viruses, I have no idea as to how or whom as I do not go out much, I don't even kiss anyone, LOL, I just can't imagine; she said it could be from anything, even a counter where someone had sneezed and I touched it without realizing it. Whatever it was, I have it, big time. She said no wonder I am hurting all over, and have that "achy flu like feeling" all the time. That is also why my throat is always sore, has been for a few months now. She said this is probably the reason for a lot of my troubles. I know I just do "feel" like me anymore and feel so "blah" and the pains get worse a lot more lately than before. She said to avoid high stress when able, although she realizes it is not easy, to drink a lot of fresh water, do light walking daily when I am not hurting, eat a very balanced diet and avoid sugar and Trans fats, and just do anything I do in moderation. She needs to have another complete blood panel drawn again in a month to see how the meds she prescribed are working. She asked if I was starting school this summer, I said that due to trouble getting my grant money, no; hopefully this fall. We both agreed that is a blessing in disguise, as she said that she does not want any new stresses added to me right now. (Plus, I will be running back and forth to Yakima for tests until things get settled down)

Also, my darned triglycerides are very high. (These are a blood fat related to sugar) Last year, this date, I was 132 which is perfect, this time, I was 309!!!!! Definitely NOT good for good cardiac health. Again, I have no idea as to why, I have not really changed anything. So, I am to increase my fiber intake, again, avoid all sugars and fats, exercise when able and we will check that again the same time next month. She said if that and my cholesterol do not come down, we will have to resort to a very high amount of Niacin, I am sure you have seen the ads for it on TV. I told her I was taking fish oil so much that I was turning into a fish, this is the gold standard for high trigs, but, she said, that is not always the case with some folks, and dang it, I am one of them, so, we have to try other venues instead, geesh.

My protein levels are low, that has NEVER happened. She said that is a "red flag" telling her I am not digesting or absorbing anything right, well, I suspected that, I mean, I take things to feel better until I am blue in the face, but, I never feel a cotton picken bit different. What a mess. She said believe it or not, there has been a lot of research lately on Apple Cider Vinegar helping, she asked if I was willing to try it, I said that would be great. So, she said to take a tablespoon with a little water right before each meal, let her know in a month how I am feeling, and again, the test for protein will be done on that date as well. She said since I have tried drugs, etc and they did nothing, this is a great way to go.

Oh, I am also severely deficient in Vitamin D3. She said that can be common right after winter as we are not in the sun a lot, but, this level is not normal at all. She said this can also contribute to my depression, aches and pains and the compromised immune system. I have been taking large amounts, but I dropped it thinking I was OK. Well, WRONG, so now, I am on 10,000 mcgs a day. I don't care how strong as long as it helps, I am fed up with feeling crappy. Again, that will be checked next month as well.

Gee, aren't I in great shape? But you know, I feel relieved, at least I know there really is something wrong and it is not in my head. Oh, she did say that being in the beginning of menopause was not helping at all, so, I am doing a small amount of bio-identical Progesterone Cream daily, it does seem to help, it bypasses the tummy as I rub the cream on my arm, so, I do not have to worry about absorbing the dang stuff.

Jim my friend, is on his way to Seattle, he is going to a Sons of Italy convention. I was just not up to it, plus, the main reason, my dad's birthday is this weekend, he will be 90, and I wanted to spend it with him, I seriously doubt that I will have many more with him and I want to spend this time with him. He is doing some better, I have been making him some weight gain milk shakes, etc and he does eat and drink them. He is outside now raking, that is a good sign, he was not doing that before. I told Jim to drive careful, those idiots in the Seattle area are horrible on the interstate, I hate it with a passion. He will be back late Sunday.

Speaking of Jim, he retires in two weeks now, and boy am I glad. He really is getting tired, he deserves the rest where he can work in his yard and do what he pleases. He won't admit it, but, I can tell he just does not feel too good lately, has a lot of aches and pains. So, I say "hooray" . Now, his time is his and he won't have to worry about schedules or anything involved with work. I don't think they treated him to nicely either.

Well my dears, I will sign off, just wanted to bring you up on the news.

You take care now. I am going to rest awhile, sort of feeling "tired" again.

Hugs
