You actually look like my sister. Similar eyes, nose and face shape.

That's where my maternal grandmother was from! I don't think my mom has ever seen pictures of it, so I'm going to copy these to her, if you don't mind

Of course I don't mind!! By the way the view was towards Plymouth which is in Devon but I was standing in Cornwall (Mt Edgecumbe) whilst taking it. I have more photos if you want to show her them too

Beautiful photos Eyre. It looks like spring has come in full force there already if the pics are recent, in some pictures it looks like summer

I noticed that the grass is starting to turn from brown to green again this morning, but otherwise we are still waiting here ^^

They were taken two days ago when I went to do some plant picking for my herbarium . When I came back from Malaysia on the 9th, it was freezing but now it is so hot! Lovely weather with clear skies .

What did you make?

In the front is rise with toasted almonds and cranberries. Salmon with roasted potatoes. Julian (little bowl shaped) with mushrooms, peppers and cheese. Cabbaga salad, and piroshki (pastry dough with cheese). The other stuff my mom and aunt made but it did not come out in the pictures.


I love your pictures. Its so pretty and makes me really want to go traveling, for a long time!

I'm not as good as I wish I was. I am thinking about learning how to bake. After school is done, I'm going to make my first coconut cake.

I will, once I have enough saved.

Malaysia has inspired me to bake stuff. I baked a banana loaf the other day. Next I want to get onto making the other desserts that I tried there. Got to find out what they are first lol.

We've had heavy rains the last few weeks so to lower the reservoir behind Norris Dam in the event of more rain, they've lowered flood gates at the top of the dam to let some of the water spill over into the Clinch River.
