Also getting emails from another guy who contacted me on POF (what's with this site suddenly? lol) who seems very nice. But that's about it. Just "nice". I need more than nice. I need amazing. I just don't think he's amazing But he's asked me to continue talking to him (I told him I don't think there's any potential) so I guess I will, and see what happens.

I hate these situations. If there's no spark, there's no spark. I hate it when a guy asks me to give him another chance, and it never goes anywhere, and then I feel crappy twice.

yeah, if i didn't think there was a chance of anything developing, I wouldn't continue talking. I mean you're both there to meet the loves of your lives, right? Its not fair to either of you to waste time pursuing something you know isn't going to happen.

I'm not talking about bad experiences, but guys that kinda "beg" you to give them chances, even after you've gently expressed that there's no interest/spark/chemistry. I know there are a lot of people who would say "Oh, give them a chance, you never know what might happen", and then I give the guys a chance, and no spark ever develops, then I have to reject them twice, and I feel like a cruddy monster. I never know if I should just say "nope, not interested, bye" right up front, or give them the ubiquitous "chance" and just drag it out. Is there a chance I might actually just BOOM suddenly feel fireworks for a guy that really isn't doing it for me?

So, I got rid of my dating site profile. (yes, again). A guy was talking to me right before I decided to delete it. I'm 100% sure nothing would have come from it btw. So, I wrote him a message saying I was ridding of my profile and if he wanted to contact me here's my email. I gave him all day and he still hadn't read the message. I couldn't take it anymore and had to delete before he read it. I figure we talked like a day. He'll get over it.
I have no idea if he got it or not. I kinda hope not cause I kinda wanna lose contact.

I'm probably mean for doing so but honestly I don't care. I obeyed the Lord. That's all that matters.

Yes, monkhood no longer activated... also, I'd like to take this time to retract my initial statement lol apparently she just didn't want to bring it up. I got the "well, you could always just call me by my name..." when I asked if there was any pet names I was allowed to use

She's sometimes just like me, we share the same sense of humour and say things like "wow, that's cool" and then reply "yeah, I know," in a non-chalant, it should have been apparent way... She did it to me yesterday and rendered me speechless, all I could do was laugh and smile.
