Data never changes. You may add more data, even more accurate data, but the old data is still data. So, in reply to AVET's little quip....data does not change, though the data in new published articles is certainly new data. Theories may change, on the other hand. As I (and others) have pointed out ad nauseum here, science is self-correctly, while religious dogma (eg creationism) is not. Which should we trust, AVET?
I see what you're saying that observations never change, even when we get newer, more accurate ones and that makes sense. This seems more of a semantics or definition of scope issue than anything, to be honest.
