CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

On Valentines' day this week, I felt inspired to write this Poem.
(now, I'm not skilled in such, as other Authors ~
it flowed out of me in about 10 minutes.
so please don't make fun of me
)
"Heavenly Father, please for our healthful
sake...
do not let us the world's foolish mistakes make.
Jesus, lend your listening....................... ear,
so you may our PRAISE about you
hear.
How terrible! you had to suffer the fire, so we,
as former sinners, can now to HEAVEN with you retire.
PLEASE help us, share... a bit of your divine Power,
which even is manifested in a flower
hour by hour.
How silently, yet unmistakenly you knock on our heart's door,
to help us Awaken... to all the Abundance of life for us you have in store.
We LOVE you & want to Honor you so much, Please help us with all such.
Heavenly Father, you are the BEST, of everything
especially living with......... you in REST........

I felt rather let down by a christian friend last night and it had bothered me quite a bit and I still feel hurt. It's amazing how God can work through others providing us with just the right words and the bit of courage we need. I'm glad I could view your post. Have a good day!
