  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I suffer with bad OCD.​

Every second of everyday is a constant battle.​

I really need help with this and I ask for your help.​

Please say a prayer for me for it to get better or even go away.​

I feel selfish asking, but it gets so bad and it ruins almost everyday.​

This post actually comforted me, because now I have someone to talk to who suffers from the same problem that I do. A big reason I even joined Christian Forums was for someone to talk with me about my OCD and scrupulous thoughts. I feel what you're going through, and like you said, every single day is a battle. You can talk to me about it, and we can share ideas, because I know exactly how you feel.

I am praying for you and believing that you will be free of this OCD. Also that Christ comfort you, guide you and give you wisdom.

I really do feel for you and will continue in prayer daily for you :groupray:
