Prophecies/Predictions for 2010: Results

2010 is now officially behind us, so once again it’s time to recall the eschatological predictions made on this forum concerning 2010 and discuss the results. This list is not exhaustive, so if you know of any prophecies/predictions I have missed please feel free to post them and let us know how they turned out.

I have broken the eschatological claims down into predictions and prophecies. Some of the claims made here are only based on opinions interpreted through biblical research and current events, so I categorize those only as personal predictions. However, some of the claims here have been based on supposed prophetic insight and divine revelation, not on human reasoning, so I classify those as prophecies. I haven’t counted any vague claims, such as “hey, I believe the rapture is coming soon!” - I only counted ones with a specific date or event terminating in 2010.

Here’s how it works: All of the 2010 prophecies/predictions (p/p’s) are in quotes. I’ve tried to provide the links to the p/p’s so you can check them out for yourselves, although a couple may be missing. Underneath the quotes are my comments. At the end there will be a final tally.

Three and a half years have passed since the agreement took place, and nothing of biblical proportions has resulted from it. Not only should the Church stop being complacent, but it should also stop sending up false alarms.

The Tribulation did not start in 2010, not by any visible indications anyway.

Mr. Solana stepped down in Dec. 2009, and he is no longer the EU's high representative for the CFSP or the secretary general for the CEU. Jewish temple sacrifices did not begin, Solana did not attain a higher profile in the US over the last 3 years, and there was no assassination attempt made against him. So at this point Solana is not the man.

Well, unless all of us on this forum currently represent non-believers, then this prediction of a Rapture between 7/12-7/20 did not occur.

More than nine months have passed since this prediction was made, and there has not been an economic collapse (yet), and a global government was not instituted within the alloted timeframe.

Elections were held this November, despite being told that the marxists would not allow it. And although Jen claimed that the marxists would not give up their power, the non-marxists (Republicans) made great strides and won the majority in the House of Representatives and are determined to become the party of "No".

I ask this because there was this church that I visited recently where as the preacher had done some indepth studies of the sky charts and other research where as he beleive that the rise of the anti christ will be on that day at 6am on the 6th second. What do you think about this theory? I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this. Another thing is that this preacher beleives that we are living the final 7 years. Also if I find out more as to why he says this I will post it here!!!”

Despite sky charts and other research, an antichrist did not rise on 6/6/10.

There was no formal announcement concerning future cooperation between humans and extraterrestrials, despite the claim that powerful institutions were ensuring that nothing derailed the planned disclosure announcement. 2010 did not represent a year of greater government openness on UFO's, and Obama did not lead an unprecedented effort to promote global governance.

Although man-made and natural horrors occur every year throughout the world, nothing occurred in the US or throughout the planet that came close to eclipsing 2001 or rendering the events of 9/11 insignificant. And 2010 was definitely not the beginning of the bloodiest years the human race has ever seen. (BTW, where did the Dutch get 40,000 pregnant sheep and goats, and where were they slaughtered? That's a lot of wasted meat).

It is what all sky, space related web sites are calling Jupiter and right now Earth is about 6 months away from passing Wormwood close up and the destruction it will cause inbound to the Sun is in Revelation Ch 8 and the outbound destruction is in Rev Ch 16”

July and August came and went, and a brown dwarf start did not cover 1/5 of the sky, nor did Revelation 8 unfold this year. And despite staking his life on his prediction, apparently highwic now claims elsewhere that his calculations were a tad off and that the dwarf star is coming sometime next year. Whatever.

12.) Paxton25, The Koran Bookburning will trigger the Great Tribulation, (9/7/10)
"This Unholy War has been brewing for 9 years.

It will begin on Sept. 11, 2010. A professing Christian pastor will lead millions of people across America and around the world to formally condemn Islam.&#8221;

Just as many Muslims were unfairly blamed, persecuted, beaten, tortured and killed for what occurred on September 11, 2001, so too will Christians be treated for the carnage that ensues in the coming days and months.

This religious war will provide justification that the Obama Administration needs to declare martial law and open up the FEMA camps to ''religious radicals'' and enemies of peace. Only those who deny Christ and endorse the pluralist doctrines of the Obamanation and the UN's Alliance of Civilizations will be spared the scourge of persecution."

The book burning never happened, and the Unholy War did not begin on 9/11/10; martial law was not declared and FEMA camps were not opened up.

Brother highwic, like so many others who humble themselves to see what the ALmighty will allow, has made one error in his "false prediction". He tried to place a date upon this prophecy that only the ALmighty knows. Perhaps the one who is worthy to open and read the scroll knows as well, our Beloved, but again since mankind knows only what they humble themselves to see, we must never try to date a prophecy. In doing so, he probably did more harm than good, since the wormwood/x is coming, those who watched as his prediction was debunked might not be prepared physically when it DOES.

Mr Patel is a well know member of the organizations responsible for the NWO and the debilitation of our society. Yet this man denies being the messiah, but insists he was born to be a prince and dreams of the day when the world will yearn for his leadership.

We will see after the mortal wound is struck, and the world is in turmoil if the spirit of satan enters into him and raises him as our false messiah, leading us into this coming technological eden of equality and spiritualism.


The wormwood will bring the mortal wound, and maitreyas aka raj patel, along with the next pope will heal the mortal wound, restore the power grid, and build the NWO, the final beast/kingdom under their authority.

I will NOT however put a date on these events, and as of now, raj patel is NOT the a/c, although his speeches deny the Spirit of Jesus to the fullest and are very antichrist in their context.

My dear brother LittleLambofJesus,

My point is that brother highwic was incorrect only in placing a specific date on this prophecy.
When we read the "recognized" prophets of the Holy Scripture, we should follow after their example and NOT set dates for such vision. Surely bros' Daniel and John must have felt the visions revealed to them were for their time, at least for a moment, but we know this day that the Lord ALmighty has sealed up those events until such time as the end.

When the end is near, WE WILL KNOW!

Should we have stoned brother Daniel for failing to tell us that these events would not only unfold once, but twice.

For a surety all is not yet come to pass, and the Kingdom of Heaven exists only in our hearts. Yes, our Beloved Jesus is in each of us who has accepted His Sacrifice for us, and if we should take the sleep this day, tomorrow(symbolic for when we awake) we will be be with Him in paradise.

I do not so accuse you of denying the Spirit of Christ as our physical King, but it appears that you lessen Him to some imaginary being, existing only in Spirit.

I tell you this doubting Thomas. There will come a day, that you and I, and all of Christendom who have stayed faithful and denied our flesh through the coming tribulation, will be able to see and touch His pierce Hands, and feel the physical warmth of His bosom.

You claimed that a certain code gave the exact date of the coming antichrist (12/21/12), that Iran would be invaded in May of this year, that the pope will face ridicule in 2011 and step down, that Wormwood will pass in late 2012, that Obama will be dead by 2014, and that the chip will be mandatory by 2017. That's a lot of date setting, IMHO. But we'll see how it all turns out.

To my knowledge, there weren't any correct prophecies from this forum to report on in 2010. But like I said, if you know of any you are free to post them here to tell us how they turned out. And no, no one here is advocating seeking out people to stone. If examining the level of predictive/prophetic discernment on this forum every year makes you a little uncomfortable its probably because the track record isn't very good. Don't blame the messenger.

There were fulfilled prophecies back in 2008 that I put front and center on my thread here. I do try to be fair.

Dates aren't easy to pin down??? I don't follow. What about the Old Testament prophets. They had no difficulty relaying their prophecies. All we read is "The Lord said...." When you are a prophet, there should be no hesitation in giving God's message to the people. It should be done with utmost confidence.

Additionally, most of the prophets were pleading with the people to listen to them and understand their message. So again, if someone has a message from The Lord. They should be shouting it out on here.

But Biblically, as has been pointed out, there are no more prophets. We have the entire future through the end of the world in the Bible already. That's it.

And the thing on how serious this is this: if you are seriously making a prophecy, then your words should be added to the Bible. Any real prophecy should seriously have equal standing with the Bible because it is the Word of God. We see this happen with people like King Saul or Agabus, who prophesied things that were not even major events, but still get included in Scripture.

However, I wouldn't have said that about brother Barak since he is to be laid low almost directly after Amadinejah, and that is to happen within the next 11 months or so. At least if the elections are to be suspended by Nov 2012.

But again, you may have proof of this, so I will refute it as a typo, meaning to have said prior to the Nov 2012 election rather than after the coming of wormwood late 2012/early 2013.

Wow, brother eclipse that was an incredible read. Thanks for that. I realize the father in the family was following false rapture doctrine, but that family dynamic was beautiful. i am so envious of those types of families. I suppose that is why I spend an hour or two hear every day or so, sharing with my extended family.
My wife likes to sing at church, and my kids love Sunday School, vacation Bible School and storytime Bible Books, but when the lesson is over, it's most often back to daily chores or relaxing for my wife, and back to toons or games for my kids.

I sure wish I had such a grasp on the memorization of Scripture that even the young boy had in that story, and the wife, what a whip, quoting chapter and verse of everything he spoke of.

But as for the Word being fullfilled, hogwash. As the Scripture CLEARLY says, "flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom". So this aint it.

Yes, we have Christ Jesus in our hearts, and His Kingdom lies there now for me and you to see within ourselves. But I tell you this. The day WILL come when EVERY knee shall bow, and many will cry out to our Lord saying Lord Lord......

He will reign for a literal 1000 years over this earth, uncorrupted and without sin. We, in transformed bodies, will exist for the millenium, worshiping the ALmighty God with Christ Jesus as our King and High Priest.

Then after that most perfect day(1000 years) we will be ready to meet the Father. Led by Jesus, hand in hand into the presence of the ALmighty.

If you brother choose this flesh for his kingdom, so be it. I choose to long for the incorruptible Kingdom under one rule, the rule of the Law, who is Christ Jesus.

Praise and exalt Him above all forever!
