  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Are you serious?

Leviticus was a horrible searing pain in my soul for me to read.

So many animals were roasted in that book. :(
But if you look at it in a different light, it's really intriguing. All of the guidelines set out by God all serve a purpose. For example: Don't eat the fat of animals. Why? Because even though it was considered strange in those days, we now know that consuming fatty tissues leads to high cholesterol and bad health. It may seem insignificant, but God is always watching out for us.

And as far as the sacrifices go, look at them this way: Be thankful that you don't have to go through ALL those rituals just to be right before God. Jesus takes the place of all those sacrifices. (Unfortunately, I feel guilty now because I realize that every little sin had to be covered by a sacrifice. Which means that every little sin I commit is just places Jesus right back up on that cross.)

Sorry to rant! ^_^

That wasn't a rant.

You know, there are so many times that I thank Him for the cross that sometimes I wonder if He hates me just for constantly bringing it up all the time. *lol*

He sure did have the most awesome life here on earth though and that's what I really try to remember about Him. :)

I wish I could post more often, but I have no computer. So I have to come to the public library and finding an open computer here is like swimming in a sea of sharks and trying not to get ate! ^_^

IJWTS- Research shows children who go to preschool will more likely to graduate High School and got to College.

I'm telling you, college begins in preschool, and I am so proud of my kiddos! I have about 5 who are ready for kinder and its only September. By the end of the year, I'm going to get these kids to be the best ever! No bar is too high for them. No bar at all! I know it.
