IJWTS ... to cut the hair ... or not cut the hair ... I wish I had someone who could cut hair that I knew and trusted! I always have to take my chances with strangers, and I'm always scared to death. The last time, I told them to cut it so it would come just past my ears (NOT to layer it) and they hacked it up until I looked like a boy. I was SO upset.

I know exactly what you mean. I just recently found someone I trusted with my hair. I went on a missions trip with her and she has her Masters. I walked into her shop last month and said' "Do whatever you want. Have fun." So she chopped 4 inches off and dyed it red lol It turned out awesome though! Best hair cut I received in a looooooong time. Most times when you go somewhere and tell them exactly what you want they never listen and end up doing what ever they think is best. It's so frustrating.

I know exactly what you mean. I just recently found someone I trusted with my hair. I went on a missions trip with her and she has her Masters. Yes, its really hot. I was freezing two days ago.

haha. You'd have a little trip if I find a trustworthy tattoo artist to take my word for it.

Yet, I really did. I'm in the mood of saving up 300 bucks and pay by the hour and just discuss the ideas in my head with an artist and let him have at it.

I sorta did that. I gave him an idea of what I wanted and then he designed it. I came back about a week or two later and he showed me the design and I absolutely loved it! It was just what I wanted. His name is Pony too so naturally I was a little concerned at first lol

Well artists in the tattoo world are sometimes eccentric like that. As long as they do great work while they are sober, that's all that matters right?

I have the longing to finish my black and gray sleeve hope. I just don't know what to think about with making what I have fit into a sleeve. I have some ideas in my head so maybe I need to actually go and hang out at the shops again like I used and talk to some, look them up online, look up about the opinions of people in the area, look at the festivals and conventions that go and see who gets the best ratings etc. and with cleanliness etc. Pay by the hour and just let him tattoo by the hour with a vague but firm plan.

My neighbor who I talk to off and on kind of gave back some old inspiration as we talked about tattoos.

IJWTS that is was a very hot weather. But i love the rain and it was very unlikely that we'll have those soon. But i said God will give me this gift on my birthday and guess guess it rained all night yesterday

Exactly. Them being sober is always a plus for me.

You should definitely just go for it. Harass some good artist and just do it! I am currently researching my next tattoo extravaganza.

I have a friend that could and would.

He just lives in the state away on the northern west side. So it'd a hunky chunk of change for a 2-way train ticket or gas money to get a tattoo.

So I'll have to accept that I have to find someone similar here.

Oooo yeah that is quite an expensive trip for a tattoo. I'm sure you'll find one. There are a lot of good artists out there
