CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A great song from the British invasion. Sadly, Gordan Waller passed away last July. Several of the songs done by this duo were written, as was this one, by Lennon and McCartney. The reason? Paul was dating Peter's sister, actress Jane Asher.

I have said before, it was a common practice for a doowop group to record an old standard, and convert it to the doop style of music. Here is a fantastic example!

Tom Jones was a great entertainer! Years ago, when he was at his peak, I got to see him in concert for FREE!! What a great show he put on!! You see, back then, the Ohio State Fair had free grandstand with name stars! Some of the ones that I got to see for free: Mac Davis, Helen Reddy (lol--she was so bad people walked out on the FREE concert!), Sonny and Cher, Ike and Tina Turner, and more.
