I couldn't decide between Freddie Mercury and David Lee Roth.

For bravado, I'd definately include Jim Morrison.
Maybe even Axl Rose, temper tantrums not withstanding.
Bon Scott of AC/DC pwns. Brian Johnson completely and is definately pretty high on the list.
Mick Jagger would also be on the list.
Ozzy with Sabbath when he was sober enough - even if he isn't technically as talented as Dio, in terms of establishing metal, he should be on the list.
I'd personally include Alice Cooper, but more in terms of showmanship, and being an entertainer in his heyday, rather than being a mega-talented singer.

Led Zeppelin/Robert Plant is/are completely overrated in my opinion, and I can't understand why everyone's so enamoured with them.

Mikael Åkerfeldt - Opeth. His voice is simply amazing, from death metal growls to clean vocals in the same song. He also has good tone.
