luckily for you.. camp is wrapping up, and that means it's almost time for me to come back full force here's some stuff from the summer...
Our theme this summer was "Jungle Trek: Seeking the Temple of the Vine" and we had this skit going through the camp week.. Rocky was Montana Jones, Sarah was a jungle guide, and on the 2nd day of chapel I appeared as a jungle native. Here are some pictures from our chapel skits...
Big chapel, where Montana's older brother Indiana showed up. Sarah lost her voice so at the last minute I got into character and translated everything.
Some weeks I wore my hair down.
Nerd night. Bethie let me borrow her thesaurus, so I walked around giving everyone synonyms for everything they said. the sad part is that the outfit i was wearing is probably something I'd wear, except the tucked in shirt part.
Bethie and I ran onstage to give synonyms for "excited" for his question "Are you excited for campfire?"
I think I have written before about the craziness of CAPS - I got to be a timer a few times this summer. I'm second from the left, in the purple jacket. To the right is a legend, Flamingo Joe, then the founder The Crusher, Sarah, and then the Indonesian Fury (in the orange). Onstage were the Smoke that Thunders (who is now the only person to have held the International and World CAPS belts) and the White Rider.
A few days ago we went into Seattle to go to church at Mars Hill.. I drank coffee and sat for like an hour and a half.. I had tons of energy and was running around barefoot. I was actually running in place, my friend Sharon was posing.
in Seattle.. me on the L, then Mejee and Venti Matt. I found that leaf on the ground and carried it with me, because I loved it so much.
I really like to hijack people's cameras in the staff lounge..
Me and Sarah, she's from England and talks like Bridget Jones.
Me and Grande Matt. I did his hair, isn't it nice? I really miss him.
Me and Nakai, who is from Zimbabwe.
Me and Matt again.. he ALWAYS makes that face when you talk to him, and I absolutely love it. it makes me smile all inside of me.

One day during SEARCH devotions I decided we needed for Graham to wear bright pink pants, and to have a Michael Jackson dance party. Graham wore the pants all day. haha... I love this picture.

Me and Dave.. who is from Ireland. He looks like a superhero, right? Once I wrote a note to him that said that he looked like a superhero and that was awesome.. but I put it in the wrong dave's box.. so then the other dave figured it out adn put it in this Dave's box, but then this Dave didn't believe it and thoguht it belonged to someone else and put it in another dave's box. haha.

We picked Mejee up so he could go to the movies with us.. but we didn't have enough room for him, and there was a police man watching us.. so me being the responsible, 6 years older than anybody one.. I got Mejee to lay on the floor. it was fun, and fairly irresponsible.

These curtains hang up to separate the washing area for kids that have lice with the checking area. Mejee and I found other uses for them, though.. like turning them into cocoons!

At Messy games campfire, we play a very famous game known as "Egg Me, Baby." 10 contestants, 5 pairs, 10 eggs.. an unknown amount are hard boiled and some are raw. This is me egging Emily....

I treated a bunch of people to slurpees... and realized how terrible I am at them.
At the annual staff mariners game. matt is as uninterested in baseball as I am.
