Question! Need ideas.

I wish I could get ideas from both sides liberal and conservative, but I'll go for the one side that I lean mostly towards.

God has blessed me with an amazing computer setup with a 22" widescreen monitor, a computer that can... do about anything... all given to me. My first thought besides what I can do on this, I play computer games to pass the time as a hobby, is how can I utilize this in His name?

I want to bless God back. I believe He gave this to me for more than just entertainment purposes! Anyone have any ideas what I could do through a powerful computer that could help further God's kingdom?

Perhaps help maintain your church website? or another ministries website? Help your church make bulletins and PowerPoint presentations?

Actually my girlfriend is taking care of that already. Powerpoint and what not would not really utilize this system. This system can play any game on the market right now at max and run it as easy as cutting butter.

I was thinking a couple months ago starting a ministry aimed at the youtube community... If you look up Jesus, there's hardly anything creative and worthwhile that would hold a typical citizen of this society's attention, rather sad. I haven't forgotten about this, but I'm testing it first with time before I decide to start anything. Any ministry should be started with a burden, otherwise its a self serving cause... Hmm.

I had an idea once...but I wasn't equipped to handle it...technologically that is...Ca lu less!

I wanted to start a prayer website...where people from all over could ask for prayer and pray for others.

I know there are several out there...but what would one more hurt?...

How about something along those lines...and see where it leads you.

And of course...the best thing to do is to pray about it...and ask God what He wants you to do with the awesome 'puter He gave you...

Give it away...find a ministry in need and give it to them, help them set up to run their work, maybe a pregnancy center or something...

I guess you need vid. software to do that....

I think your youtube idea is fantastic! That is a huge audience and I think you could do something good!

LOL sister! I am also of the technically challenged brigade and can't make fabulous stuff like videos, haha. I can't do anything except post! When I'm really pushing the boat out the most I can do is copy and paste a Youtube, woo hoo!

Lol, yes it is! I always feel like a technical midgit around nearly everyone on the internet, everyone else seems so much more capable than me, they have all these fancy profile pages with pictures and stuff but I can only get excited when I paste a youtoob on my signature, LOL!

well hey, I don't have a profile page for myself...
I kinda don't even understand why people have to have those;
it's almost as if it's some ID card or something?
I should look into it.
