When is everybody going to realize that this guy is a troll?

Sure...but he's so much fun! And his font size makes his rants visible from across the room.

NWman, those might be all good names; however, I must give props to the men and women who literally maned up and seceded from the U.S.. Awesome.

They just did it. They went full tilt boogie and said C-YA!!! Awesome!!!

The New Confederate States Of America. Cool!!!

Shield,
First off this post is nothing but TROLLING!
If not, then you are a real threat to the United States of America.

I can not even fathom what would make a person say that the US Civil War was awesome!

How is over 600,000 dead a awesome thing?
Tearing a Nation apart and pitting brother against Brother is awesome?
Having 3% of the Nation NOT return from the war is awesome?

Have you ever walked a battle field? Have you sat and looked out at those hallowed fields and realized how many men and boys died there?

We can debate about the Confederates right to secede all you want but the results of their secession were NOT Awesome!

WAR IS HELL! And advocating it is a statement straight from Hell!
Sometimes War can not be stopped but you are advocating another American Civil War and that is evil.

Yes I do believe you are advocating a war. What do you think would happen if some of the States tried again to secede from the Union?

You do realize this makes no sense, and is completely out of context? Right?

SOLA FIDE.

Nice to know you think Jesus makes no sense. It's completely in context, but you'd rather twist the Bible to fit your beliefs, rather than fitting your beliefs to the Bible. How sad for you that you are filled with so much hate and anger.

It always fascinates me how the more reactionary members of our society flock to such meaningless concepts as 'states' rights' insofar as it protects what they consider to be their heritage, and yet are the first to insist upon defense of that history on a Federal level just as soon as a state contradicts it (see, for instance, the recent fiascoes in California or Massachusetts, and the calls for a Constitutional amendment banning homosexual marriage ). It seems that they, for one, do not believe that what goes in for the goose must come out for the gander.

This sort of pseudo-anarchism is particularly delightful when observed among the more fringe elements of the Christian Right. I've never seen a more entertaining set of people than those for whom their own principles grow tiresome after carrying them up Calvary for awhile.

More souls for God to roast down in Hell! Muhahahahahahaha! Achtung, baby! Diese Weise zu den Duschen!

Seriously, SoF definitely has a Nazi vision of what/who God is.

What you don't like is the fact that I am right. You hate it. You want to be right and look cool. Tough.

Creating a New Nation; one that is founded on the Word of GOD: would be an awesome thing. Period. End of remark.

I'm not a fringe anything. I am a straight up Christian. One who knows the Word of GOD. I understand something you don't. I understand that creating a New Nation based on the Word of GOD would be very much like the original United States. Back when the Congress building was the greatest CHURCH in the States!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, yeah! You hate that.

NICE to know you know nothing of how to read something in context.

Her response to my statement meant absolutely nothing. But I don't expect you to understand spiritual things. Read chapters 1 & 2 of 1 Corinthians and maybe you'll get what I'm saying.

SOLA SCRIPTURA.

Divorce is permitted under the New Testament. For details read it.

SOLA SCRIPTURA.

I did read it.

It does not permit it. Paul does. Christ speaks strongly against it. Since when does Paul hold more authority than Christ?

I also notice that the New Testament doesn't ban abortion. So why is that illegal?

Old anthem:

Oh, I wish I was in the land of cotton,
Old times there are not forgotten,
Look away, look away, look away Dixie Land.

In Dixie Land, where I was born in,
early on one frosty mornin',
Look away, look away, look away Dixie Land.

I wish I was in Dixie, Hooray! Hooray!
In Dixie Land I'll take my stand
to live and die in Dixie.
Away, away, away down south in Dixie.
Away, away, away down south in Dixie

New anthem:

The Lord bless thee and keep thee
The Lord make His face to shine up-on thee
And be gra-cious un-to thee
And be gra-cious un-to thee
The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee
And give thee peace, and give thee peace

SOLI DEO GLORIA.

Oh SoF you left out some the best parts! here's the whole version you quoted from:

O, I wish I was in the land of cotton
Old times there are not forgotten
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

In Dixie Land where I was born in
Early on one frosty mornin'
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

Chorus:
O, I wish I was in Dixie!
Hooray! Hooray!
In Dixie Land I'll take my stand
To live and die in Dixie
Away, away,
Away down south in Dixie!

Old Missus marry Will, the weaver,
William was a gay deceiver
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

But when he put his arm around her
He smiled as fierce as a forty pounder
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

Chorus:
O, I wish I was in Dixie!
Hooray! Hooray!
In Dixie Land I'll take my stand
To live and die in Dixie
Away, away,
Away down south in Dixie!

His face was sharp as a butcher's cleaver
But that did not seem to grieve her
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.
Old Missus acted the foolish part
And died for a man that broke her heart
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

Chorus:
O, I wish I was in Dixie!
Hooray! Hooray!
In Dixie Land I'll take my stand
To live and die in Dixie
Away, away,
Away down south in Dixie! (emph. added)
I think that adds a whole new...feeling to the CSA. ;)

I don't care what ya'll think. There's one thing I do have to say.

The Dixie song is cool! It's got one of the catchiest tunes in... all of music. I may hate the CSA, but I love that song.

Keep the old anthem SOF, your new one SUCKS!!!!!

I certainly couldn't raise any sort of family in your little fantasyland even if I wanted to, you'd probably throw both me and my boyfriend in jail since we're living and sleeping together without a legal marriage *gasp!*

Hard to make babies when you've got bars between you. I suspect this would be the case with a great many people, almost everyone I know is having or has had premarital sex at one point. Better build lots of prisons!

I doubt SoF would bother with prisons. You see, prisons require tax money, and tax money would mean the rich would have to pay. That's against the neocon code.

On the other hand, Kool-Aid ala Jim Jones is much cheaper.

Then why the frak call it the Confederate States of America?

Be original, try thinking for yourself. How about the Renewed States of America, or the Purified States of America, or New America, or the Righteous States of America?

Why not "Canada"?;)

Have you heard of Death Note, SoF? I think the premise might appeal to you.

Meet Light Yagami, a brilliant but bored high school student whose life is changed when he finds the Death Note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami, or god of death, named Ryuk. When Light discovers that any human whose name is written in the book dies, he vows to use its power to rid the world of evil. But every action has its consequences, and Light soon finds himself in a life or death battle of wits with the mysterious genius detective called L. Humanity itself becomes the battleground to determine what form of justice will prevail!
Here is a short clip from the end of the first episode.
