Minority! Hah. I'm going to keep this one. On November 4/5, I'm going to be the one laughing.

My guess is that you'll either be laughing or shoring up provisions in your hardened underground bunker.

*Earlier this month in Oregon, he redrew the map of the United States: “Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.”

Actually...this is rather silly. It's certain possible to have been in 57 states over 15 months, assuming you count all instances of travel to any particular state, not just unique instances.

Yes it does, and it was pointed out. We have a right to have some input into our children's education. If we decide that we do not want our kids taught that homosexuality is normal, then, we must either homeschool or send our kids to private schools. That impacts the family financially.

Lisa

Yes...and it's your religiously motivated problem. It's the same problem creationists have. Unfortunately for you, the Unites States specifically forbids laws that serve only a religious interest-which is what your problem is.

You may have had a sociology teacher with an agenda (that's bad) however from what I've seen the Proffs always struggle to maintain a neutral position with regard to political issues. The focus is on understanding our society, not endorsing or condemning positions on controvercial issues.

I do not know how long it has been since you were in college, but believe me, I have been in school off and on for the last 13 years trying to finish my degree. I attend a private Methodist college, and let me tell you, it is as liberal as it comes. We are required to take one religion class. I took Jesus in the Gospels and the professor bragged about how proud he was to attend the first church in our area with an openly gay minister.

As for Sociology professors, mine was also grossly liberal and challenged believers in the class on anything we said. I felt like I was in GA instead of a Methodist college.

I'm not your son, and I don't have anything to prove to you.

GGG, Voegelin, LovesTruth, ONEgod, and many others have debated with me about the Separation of Church and State, and they were all owned. That's what happens when you debate me on the Separation of Church and State issue.

No, it's not silly. You would not say I have been to 57 states in 15 months even if you count double instances. I don't say I have been to 500 malls if I have simply gone to the same mall 500 times. That is the lamest excuse I have seen.

Really? Then why did they outlaw polygamy?
Polygamy typically presents itself as oppressed women married to a man. Obvious this need not always be the case, and while it may seem good to let people "do as they wish" how often do you really think it occurs that sharing one's husband in a public marriage is the desired thing to do?

AGAIN, it is not what does gay marriage harm, but what traditional marriage is, that is the issue.

Four Reasons Not to Vote for Obama

Obama would return America to the foreign policy of appeasement and negotiation of the Clinton Administration that led to 9/11.

Obama set under a minister for 20 years that stated a "hate America" philosophy.

Obama is well liked by the New York City Atheistic Liberal News Media. The Atheistic Liberal News and Entertainment Industry is going to smear President Bush with ever misrepresentation that can be thought of. Oliver Stone is making a movie, books will be written, etc. The Atheistic Liberal New and Entertainment Industry will be "all in to win" the Cultural War.

There is a cultural war in America between Christians and Atheists. This war is being fought on the battlefield of politics. The battles are in the voting booth. The prize in the cultural war is the hearts, minds and souls of the children. The Atheistic liberal news media greatly influences both domestic and foreign policy by constantly reporting only bad news about Christians, Conservatives and Republicans and only good news about atheists, liberals and democrats. The agenda of the Atheistic liberal news media is to promote extreme environmentalism, socialism, feminism, pornography, abortion, homosexuality and the Atheistic Lifestyle by having democrats in control of government.

Obama is a democrat. The democratic party advocates extreme environmentalism, socialism, feminism, pornography, abortion, homosexuality and the Atheistic Lifestyle. What Obama says is not going to mean much after the election, Obama wil then be just another democrat and the policies of the democratic party is what will be implemented. The Atheistic Lifestyle leads to disease, death and destruction as proven by AIDS and STDS.

Republicans have yet to prove to me that they really support Christian principles, but democrats have proven they do "not" support Christian Principles.

Those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by being governed by those who are dumber - Plato

So polygamy. I mean it is in the Bible. Wouldn't that make it traditional? You seem fascinated with other things the Bible says, so it makes sense you would agitate against the anti-polygamy laws.

"And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife." 1 Corinthians 7:10-11

In other words, the wife must either return to her husband or remain unmarried. Later on in the same chapter there is further clarification on what the believer husband can do:

"Art thou bound unto a wife? Seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? Seek not a wife. But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned." 1 Corinthians 7:27-28d.

So...a husband can seek other wives as long as the woman he marries is not married herself.

Here is a wiki link on it too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polygamy#Polygamy_and_religion

So...again...why aren't you working to overturn anti-polygamy laws?

This is the same Clinton who bombed Serbia, right?

And btw, the presence of American soldiers in the Mid East is one of the things Al-Qaeda was originally founded to oppose.

Obama set under a minister for 20 years that stated a "hate America" philosophy.

Hate white men != hate America. But so what? His pastor's beliefs don't necessarily reflect his own. My priest thinks the best response to youth crime is flogging, I totally disagree. Doesn't stop me from going to the same church.

Obama is well liked by the New York City Atheistic Liberal News Media. The Atheistic Liberal News and Entertainment Industry is going to smear President Bush with ever misrepresentation that can be thought of.

Dude, you don't have to try hard to come up with stuff to smear Bush with. The man's a sitting duck.

The prize in the cultural war is the hearts, minds and souls of the children. Proof please.

The agenda of the Atheistic liberal news media is to promote extreme environmentalism, socialism, feminism, pornography, abortion, homosexuality and the Atheistic Lifestyle by having democrats in control of government.

Let's just assume this is the democratic agenda. How is the Republican pushing of greed, introversion, and environmental destruction any more Christian?

The Atheistic Lifestyle leads to disease, death and destruction as proven by AIDS and STDS.

In England, the North-East is the most Christian region of the country. It also has:

- Third highest STD rate
- Highest chronic heart disease rate
-Highest Lung Cancer rate
-Highest percentage of teenage pregnancies

Please Explain.

You mean "Diplomacy"?

Obama set under a minister for 20 years that stated a "hate America" philosophy.

As opposed to ministers that state a "All Christians must be COnservative supply-side Republicans" policy?

Obama is well liked by the New York City Atheistic Liberal News Media. Oliver Stone is making a movie, books will be written, etc. The Atheistic Liberal New and Entertainment Industry will be "all in to win" the Cultural War.

Assuming this isn't just raving paranoia, why not back the winning horse?

Obama is a democrat. The democratic party advocates extreme environmentalism, socialism, feminism, pornography, abortion, homosexuality and the Atheistic Lifestyle. What Obama says is not going to mean much after the election, Obama wil then be just another democrat and the policies of the democratic party is what will be implemented. You are a Republican. You advocate a "Christian Lifestyle" that most Christians wouldn't touch with a stick. I'll be voting Democrat, thank you.

Everytime I see this at the end of clirus' threads I hear a drum roll folowed by a symbol. Badum dum cha

Republicans have yet to prove to me that they really support Christian principles, but democrats have proven they do "not" support Christian Principles.

I'll give you this clirus you have not been advocating the systematic extermination of "non-believers" or those who live as you put it "the Atheistic lifestyle" as much as you have in the past. I think your soft side of you is starting to come through.

How about not voting for him because he's anti gun rights?

How about not voting for him because the judges he is likely to appoint will be of the internationalist type who will reduce our sovereignty by use the decisions of foreign courts in interpreting US law?

How about not voting fo him because he's just another tax and spend politician whose economic policies will drive us in the ground?
