Have you ever considered moving to a warmer climate?

I think about it every April when we've still got snow and others are picking flowers and wearing spring/summer clothes.
But I really enjoy cross country skiing and going out on snowshoes and other winter sports, so I don't think I'd be happy living too far from snow country.


How close to your childhood home do you live now?

Not close at all.

If you were to get married, and your spouse got a great job offer somewhere very far from your parents, would you go without complaint?

Yes.
I'd miss them a lot, but there are telephones, email and airplanes. We'd manage.

No.

Yes, though I can probably count on one hand the number of really nice restaurants I've been to.

Yes, but I don't do it nearly as much as i used to.

I really enjoy baking.

No, that's one dessert that I'm not very fond of.

Yeah, it's my favorite!

Usually. We go to a nice buffet and I can get lots of veggie dishes there.

About once a week, but it's usually fast food.

Not really - I get plenty of home cooking at home!

No, can't say that I have.

No, though I've seen it in magazines and things.

No, I've never heard of that.

What's an International Banquet?

I used to go to an Independant Missionary Baptist church, and each fall, they would have a Missions Conference, where missionaries would come and present their fields and gather support. We would have a banquet on Saturday, that would feature dishes from all the countries that were presented, and lots more. My favorite, I think, was the homemade egg rolls!
