CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I agree!!!! much much better!!! crisper claener images I think I am jealous at how you can do this with such ease it seems, I am still having a hard time finding the time to complete the backgroudn erasing or at least finding out how to save in gimp so I can use it - I just cant figure the GIMP out, I am so frustrated I am lagging behind. but in any case I may be able to aid in your progress as I have downloaded several different backgrounds that may be cool to use for the graphics - and am working to create some using the actual backgrounds for our forum characters that you may be able to then put the little guys and gals on for me and in this way we can work together maybe. I plan on loading these backgrounds into the cfpetrescue account on PB later today. first wnt to change my outfit for the next contest (just took grand prize in Ruth D's spring top and pants)

well my friend i just do a screen shot of the animal i want and then i open another gimp window and make the backing transparent layer the screen shot to the transparent and push zoom it to make the pics largeand get the eraser button and start deleting the backgroundinch by inch pixel by pixel

I do the same except that I'm using the wand tool in photoshop to select everything that's white (cause the pets background is white) then zoom in and start ereasing...makes it a bit easier cause it doesn't let you erease coloured pixels then so that gives you a bit of freedom when ereasing....problem is the eyes and nappies are white as well so you've got to be carefull with those....
