  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How long did you wait…

We waited until my husband's job was permanent and secure (we married about a fortnight after he got his first job after graduating). It ended up being only about 3 months of a wait, but my husband and I waited until we were able to support children before we married. Because of our miscarriages though it will end up being years between our wedding and our first live birth.

^_^We feel like we've been waiting for this forever!

Technically we have never been TTC... We fell pregnant first cycle after getting married while not trying.
I am so happy we are pregnant and having a baby, but if I could have chosen when we would fall pregnant i think i would have waited a couple of months. We didn't get a chance to just be married (or get into any sort of routine). But I am so very excited... our little one will be here soon!!!

We wait just about five years....we weren't sure if we wanted children or not at first...then we wanted to make sure we had at least a little financially stability.

Fortunately, We conceived on our 2nd cycle of trying. The conception date may have very well been our anniversary. :)

We waited around 6 months. We got married when we were around 30, so had we been much younger, we probably would have considered waiting longer. I had a few "issues" with my cycle etc, so wanted to be sure that we didn't leave it too late if we needed a bit of assistance.

Well, we weren't exactly TTC.. but we weren't abstaining or preventing either...

so I guess you could say since June, at our synagogue wedding. We hadn't had any relations after our legal wedding in Sept the year prior. (I went back to the US and he stayed here in Germany and came to get me at the wedding ;))

Things just happened as they did. With our ages, and what our doctors said to us about us maybe not being able to have kids, we decided early on not to stress about it and just let things happen as G-d provides.

We have never used birth control but we have never "tried" to get pregnant either. We leave our fertility in God's hands feel we should have a baby whenever God blesses us with one.
we are exactly the same..we dont use BBC and we don't TTC...we just live life and leave it up to God ...
