  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

:wave: good morning everyone!!! I finally got an internet connection this morning. Missed seeing everyone yesterday, but I think I've sent out reciproreps. I only need a few hits and I'll have fourteen stars!! WOW, thanks everyone. We're still in SC and we've been going alligator searching almost every day. My husband plans to "shoot" them with his camera. :D:D So far he hasn't gotten one, but we'll keep trying. :hug::hug::hug: to everyone.

:wave: Bella and Two. My son's neck was broken in a training exercise in the military. He had to have surgery to repair the broken bones. He's doing marvelously well and is healing. He still tires easily, but I believe that is because his body is working hard to heal itself. We speak with him every day (he's in Europe) and praise the Lord that he's doing so well. We also believe that it is because of the prayers of so many wonderful folks that he's healing and has no damage to his spinal cord.

He was injured during a combat training session and had surgery the last week of February. They didn't know his neck was broken until about a week after it happened, so it was by the grace of God that his spinal cord wasn't damaged. He is now pain-free and is healing a little more every day. God has certainly protected him and blessed him.
