  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'll be sticking around. Neither Bella or I have many each day that we save from the systematic thread, but we are each trying to save five a day now. I wonder how I should spend those...

But see, that's why I keep saying, Post in here & announce you have reps to swap - then WAIT for others to see it & come in to rep with you who are more compatible.
If people just come in & see high reppers and leave, it'll stay that way. :|

Leave a post that you have reps to swap - & come back & post it more times if you have to - that might get people in here

I agree! :thumbsup: Also refer this thread to others with stars. I say stars because it's going to be harder for those without stars to play.:( Not that they aren't welcome mind you. :) The more levels that come to play the more variety there will be and better deals for those with less stars.

Exactly, all are welcome, but REAL low levels benefit more in other threads where they get repped better than swapping here.
Agree (this thread has limitations like many others tho - on the "rep 10 above you" threads, you're excluded if you don't have 10 reps available!

Shali you're correct - I was agreeing. Just that we invite people in, but if they don't play, I can't change the way this thread appears.
If it's open to all star levels, then I"m doing all I can to be fair & inviting... but I can't force people to participate.
Until then, those who play here will just be high reppers - I won't shut the thread down becuz of that ;) :p
