CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Let me post the rules again & then I'll explain it =)
Game Rules:
Rep swap with others to get nearer to their Star Power! Make Rep Deals if you aren't close to a rep level:
**Offer someone w/ 3 stars to rep you 2x to get closer to your level 8. (6 / 8 star swap)
All star levels of 1 or more are welcome and encouraged to play.
TO PLAY: Each time you have a rep(s) you want to swap, go to this thread to announce it. Make swaps and deals together to come to an agreeable rep level. When both of you agree on the Deal, swap reps together.
The goal is to hook up w/ groups of people similar to your own repping power.

This is not an "exact science". =)
Do Not randomly rep people who haven't agreed to swap reps with you.
This is Rep Swapping, please return reps when the rules have been followed properly. (breaking rules may lead to no rep return)
Bartering and Dealing need to be agreed on by the other person before you rep them.
(*the intent in making deals with lower levels isn't to be perfectly ~even~ in rep power. Gaps of any level are fine
ALL REP OFFERS EXPIRE AFTER THE SWAP. New offers need to be struck for each rep swap. (Unless you have a personal understanding w/ a rep swapping buddy and agree to continue the terms you made)
BE FAIR: don't make unfair offers that you wouldn't take yourself
This isn't a "fellowship" thread. Please use this thread for finding compatible reppers & limit non related discussion.
Helping lower level reppers is encouraged here!

So Tangi, if you have a rep or some reps available, come here to 'swap' reps with others of equal or similar rep power.
After you announce that you have a rep/reps to swap, you wait till somebody sees your post & says they'll trade with you. Then pay attn. to their rep level.
In my case, I have 21 stars, you have 7. We would be equal in rep power if you gave me 3 reps and I gave you 1 rep in return. That would equal 21 reps back & forth btwn. us
Or I could offer that you just give me 2 reps = (14 stars) to my 1 rep and that would that would be a good deal in your favor. you gave me 14, I gave you 21.
