This is why daycare makes me sad. Not because it's not necessary, but because parents cannot protect their children in that kind of environment. It brings to mind the powerlessness of having to slave for a dollar to survive and shuttle kids off to someone else's care without any other option sometimes... sad.

It's probably sexist or non-pc of me to say this but I would always question an 18 year old male daycare worker. Not that they aren't capable or trustworthy (my own 17 yr old is great with kids but doesn't like them enough to make a job out of it) I just feel it's an uncommon thing and would probably want to be extra cautious when entrusting my toddlers to his care.

2- I don't deny God. There is no evidence of a god to deny.

Why, if you don't believe in God, do you care if anyone says you are going to hell? (not that telling people they are going to hell is a great way to promote christianity or anything)
For me "moral" is a social term, not a christian one... it's dictated by action not by belief. I don't know that being athiest is a reason to call someone immoral. And, as for evil, that's a judgement call, and I'm not one to say whether someone is evil or good... their actions, yes, them personally, no.

Unicorns huh? It is interesting that your compare your God to unicorns. I guess they both have the same chance of really existing.

Oh, and, btw, if you believe the Bible is accurate, then you would also have to believe in the existance of unicorns.

That was aimed more at uberdod but to comment on each of your points:

1. I don't see justice and bloodthirsty as one and the same. This guy deserves whatever he has coming to him.

2. Plenty of evidence. You just don't accept it.

3. Atheism is evil, amoral, and will certainly damn you to Hell. A little poetic justice is none of the above. I certainly don't think he deserves any special treatment or any special arrangements made because of his crime - do you?


Anyhoo. What would Jesus do? Cast the demons from him, I am sure. All we can do is lock him up.

Somebody has to do it, we're really trying to prevent you guys from suffering such an epic fail as demanding blood vengeance or asking such questions as "why should I do anything to help anyone else?"

Hmm. If I had the authority to make laws, I'd give all first time sex offenders a minimum 20 year sentence. Any repeat offender would get the death penalty.
