So while I was thinking about how awful it's going to be to actually be SINGLE on Valentine's Day... and starting to feel sorry for myself, I thought, ya know, it's just like any other day. It is any other day, just with a label. Who cares?
I have to work on Valentine's Day, and I am actually kinda glad. I won't be thinking about the fact that it is Valentine's Day that much.
But for those of you who have nothing better to do that night and don't want to be stuck home alone throwing a pity party, let's brainstorm some ideas for alternatives!!!
1. Go to the gym, shoot some hoops, or go on a run.
2. Go to a coffee shot and get your favorite cup of cappuccino and read your favorite book.
3. Go to the movies, yes, by yourself. Get a the biggest cup of soda and the biggest tub of popcorn you can buy!
4. Did anyone say "GROUP DATE!"
5. Take your mom out.
I was speaking with a guy just the other day about how Valentine's Day is a bunch of bologna any way... Why should you have to wait for a special day to tell someone you love them or that they are special to you?
It's a horrible ploy by corporate America to get more of our money.
DON'T GIVE IN!!!
teehee.
