... but he can't sing ...
Is dat Y "we're all gonna die"??
I thought it was about soundwaves as acoustic weapons research - google it
Or see page 14/18 of

"The Whistle That Killed"
A scientist made a machine something like a giant referee's whistle
It was built so big as to produce an extremely low 'note' with a very strong vibration
When it was done, the intrepid inventor swithched it on & in an instant he was dead - his internal organs had been 'scrambled' ...
The Marshall Space Flight Center in USA a vibrations test lab that has a machine for generating very high sound pressure levels (SPLs) comparable to the sound level inside a rocket shuttle during launch
A music mag reported, "To give you an idea of what those SPLs are like, empty coke cans placed in the room will splinter into hundreds of pieces as they are hit with 170 decibels of white noise...
Such SPLs could easily kill a person by inducing haemorrhaging" ...
"Sick Building Syndrome" causes abnormally high sick-rates among the workforce in affected buildings
1 of its causes has been traced to the physical effects of low frequency sound from the air conditioning system..
The Pleasure Factor
Many musos...classical as well as rock, suffer from tinnitus - ringing noise in the ears, which is a result of damage to the ear caused by exposure to loud music..
High volume levels act as a mild drug, giving the listener a 'kick' in the form of a pleasure stimulant
"For music above @ 95 dB..an adrenaline rush, comparable to the energising effects of amphetamines.. all the more likely to become addictive..
To put that..95 dB in perspective, Heavy Rock gigs often peak @ about 140 dB
Just time to say that acoustic weapons research is to save both the cost & the bad publicity of 'shock & awe bombing'
Must go
