My son is 6 and he didn't go to school today because he had a headache, no appetite and low energy.

I don't know if he is suffering from migraines or a virus, or if he's just run down from the first 3 weeks of school. He isn't used to first grade and all.

I just need to ramble. I'm feeling worried. Any advice? He won't eat.
DH says to see if he's better tomorrow before we spend 50 bucks on an emergency ped. visit.

If he's not running a serious temp and still willing to take fluids, wait three days before seeing a ped. But that's my on-medical professional 2c. So feel free to ignore.

I agree. Just give him a kids tylenol. And if he stills complains of a headache after about a couple of days then I think you should in. and if it makes you feel better call an advice nurse and she can help you more. I know you're probably thinking, "what is a kid doing suffering from a headache?" And I feel the same way, but the seasons are changing and this could affect his sinuses. I hoped this helped you.

as quickly as he got sick, he got better. It was like 5:00 and he is still feeling sick, but at like7:00 he says I,m hungry! I feel fine feed me!
