CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You can donate directly to the dream fund without participating if you prefer...
The only drawback is they will not show up until after the winner is drawn...
Also never got any feedback on possibly doing two drawings a week...???
Another idea percolating is to enter the *interest* earned by the dreamfund in the drawing under a NO WINNER name so the prize would continue to grow???
Any thoughts???

Not a bother at all... I hope I didn't convey that...
Only trying to encurage ALL the participants to check to see if there name is there... it doesn't happen automatically.... I actually have to enter the data so if you wait a few minutes after I post in the thread saying it's updated after you send the blessings... it should show up...

I think two drawings a week is a good idea. We're only halfway through the week and the pot is holding over 18,000 blessings already. Even if the drawing was done now, the winner would still get about 9,000 blessings (half, right?). So, perhaps you could hold a drawings on, for instance, Wednesdays and Saturdays?
