  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

felinity: From everything that I have researched it can be used either along with Western medicine or simply on its own. A lot of times it is used in conjunction with IVF, with very successful results. It also helps to reduce the chances of a miscarriage if you do get pregnant--balances out your hormones.

For me, it has also helped with normalizing my cycles. I used to have very irregular periods and now they are back to every 28 days. The acupuncturist that is treating me has a 75-80% success rate of aiding women in getting pregnant. I have an appointment tonight after work. I will be receiving my re-assessment and should receive my 'prognosis' for getting pregnant. Other than acupuncture treatment, I have been taking a natural supplement called 'Maca.' You ladies should really research this! It is specifically for infertility and I know a couple of women who, after taking it for a few months, both became pregnant. It's worth looking into anyways!

Hi folks - have started spotting. Usually happens a week before AF is due, so I'm probably not pregnant. I think it's too early for implantation bleeding. Only 10 days past ovulation.

The lady giving the sermon at chuch today is pregnant after 5 years of trying and said she realised her joy had been dependent on getting pregnant, but she learnt to have joy in the Lord in the circumstances of waiting for a baby. I pray that we are all able to experience this joy, while hoping in the Lord that he will bless us.

Hey ladies, sorry i've been MIA for a while. How are you all?
I finally got a positive test on Monday there, but unfortunately it wasn't to be and i miscarried over thursday night into Friday. Have taken some days off work. It's amazing how much it affects you, I don't think it matters how early on you are, its still alife you wanted so badly. I'm sure people who aren't ttc wouldn't have even noticed but i certainly did.

anyway i'm to have a month off ttc and then i'll get back on the clomid after that and try again.

Wish i could have come on here with better news...

thinking about you all,

Jilly x

Ages since I posted here, but hi to everyone!

Since my topic had no real replies...I will ask here (since most TTCing women obsess about their cyles!) heehee

Has anyone had cramps after their period? Lasting a few days..(like almost a week) and not particularly on one side such as with ovulation pain.

Hi ladies, thanks for the support i appreciate it.

Tigercub i have experienced this but I didn't know why. Maybe its just something that happens sometimes. Do you have any conditions or anything that could attribute to it? I have PCOS so thats most likely why i had it.

Hope you feel better

Maharg hope the testing goes well :)

xx

Thanks Jillymac & Maharg.

No I don't have any diagnosed illnesses that could explain the cramps. For two cycles now the period cramps/other symptoms associated with period, have been almost constant.

sucks!

Hope everyone's TTC jouries are going well!

 to Jillymac, like another poster said, it doesn't matter how far gone you are when you m/c, it hurts all the same. you're in my prayers.

Praying for you too maharg, hoping you get positive news on the 1st sept.

Hi tigercub, Ive not experienced any cramps after my P, only very mild pains which I notice for a few seconds but don't need medication or the hot water bottle to treat.

I feel a bit embarrassed asking this and I don't mean to give too much detail away here, sorry if I do  but am I alone in feeling extreme shooting pains in my va-jay-jay? I only experience them when it's that particular time of month, the pain is excruciating but only lasts about 30 seconds, the pains bring me to tears almost each time they happen.

Maharg, just a few more days to wait! :prayer: for BFP.

Tigercub, the only time I've had cramps after my period, they've been bowel related (which can feel similar to menstrual cramps).

Stealingheaven, I've never had excruciating pain there, but I do sometimes get these weird "twinges" that are almost like an extension of the cramps from the uterus. (I guess)
