CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I had a couple of PM's about this just within the last few minutes. There must be some glitch happening.

I'm okay, but I have it auto-logged in all of the time so that could be the reason I'm not experiencing this.

This could be an issue only affecting those who log in and out of the forum with each visit. I clicked the "remember me" box when I logged in after the change, and have not had a problem since. There may be a timer on the log in we do not see. I will get a PM off to tech as soon as I can.

there are ar few technical glitches happening today. this log on issue has been mentioned in a few froums. hopefully there is s fix on the way

Also- has anyone tried the "OWN" command on the menu bar to search their posts? After the upgrade, my new posts stopped adding to the list, and now I can't even access the list at all. I used to use that command a lot and I really miss it.
