CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have 2 other bedrooms which are not used yet.Are you planning to get married some day Mike? You know how fast all these rooms will fill up and with what right?

You know how I've been saying all along that my son is 18, well it's just easier to say that, but really his 18th b-day is tomorrow, so I need to go now and go shopping for him.

It was semi painless... It's taking your fingerprints and picture (they do that electronically now). The lady who took my fingerprints said to me when we were done: Well, I guess we'll see you next year and your prints should be good for then.
I can apply for citizenship next January so that was pretty cool.

Hubs goes to NYC tomorrow for Fleet Week (just an overnight) so if anyone is there tomorrow and see this odd plane with a frisbee looking thing on top flying up the Hudson River... wave!
I'm almost looking forward to it. I need to get a lot of things done here at home.

We have very strict rules with our kids that they can't date until their 18. So it will be interesting to see how long he waits to ask a girl out on a date. I think he likes a girl at St. Mark W Rite in Denver.

Dog hadn't eaten for two days... guess he finally got hungry and broke down and finished his food. He's giving me evil glares because there is no kefir on his grub as it's still being made.
Now to figure out if I want to go back to bed or try to stay awake... Took hubs to work at 5:30. So far he has been up before 5 every day this week when he normally gets up about 6-6:15. I'm totally sleeping in tomorrow.

Wow, this place came back to life today... Guess they've got all the fumigation, fertilization and irrigation done... Hopefully it will last a while...
Got most of my errands run today. Tomorrow I'm going to brave the Commissary before the mad crowds start before Memorial Day weekend. Didn't want to get close to base today with a carrier coming back from deployment.
